Solarcom Partner Services (SPS) is a subsidiary, providing access to carrier and technology solutions for North American partners, agents and resellers.

Dedicated SPS Channel Account Managers provide support to the SPS channel.   Working as senior managers, these individuals marshal all the resources of Solarcom and its vendors in support of the Partner.  They provide a single point of contact to support account and prospect management, engage technical resources, and provide end to end support for sales opportunities.

Supporting the Channel Account Managers are various groups within SPS including Inside Sales Support, and the Partner Support Group.  This highly skilled team works closely with the most advanced applications, proprietary processes, and vendor systems, to deliver the highest possible level of partner support.

History

After a year of planning, Solarcom Partner Services began operations in January 2002 as a part of the Solarcom Holdings family.   With a history of partnering to deliver technology solutions to end user customers, Solarcom has always embraced channel relationships.  During the late 90's, Solarcom was engaged by an increasing number of customers to support carrier type solutions.  With the demand for services increasing, Solarcom crafted a business plan that met the needs of partners and customers alike, and launched Solarcom Partner Services.

By early 2003, the Partner Services organization had forged strategic relationships with a significant number of partners, offering coast to coast capabilities.  Monthly partner conference calls, ongoing vendor training, a National Partner Conference in January 2003, an operational Marketing Calendar, and the rollout of the Partner Relationship Portal were all milestones in the development of new capabilities for partners.
